| The 2010 Census: It’s Easy. It’s Safe. It’s Important. Help shape the next 10 Years of Frisco. Over $400 Billion in federal funds will be allocated each year based on the 2010 Census. Grants for libraries, schools, community services, city services, road construction and more are based on population counts. An accurate and complete count will be critical to ensure that we include all of our 100,000+ residents so that we are eligible for the appropriate funding for a city of our size. 10 minutes, 10 questions. The Census Questionnaires will arrive in your mailbox in mid-March. Take a few moments to complete your form and mail it back, then encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same. Mail-back responses are the safest, and most accurate, and save your tax dollars. Census takers will only come to the homes that do not mail back their forms.
